IIFA 2025: Neil Nitin Mukesh REACTS To People Making Fun Of His Name; Says, “I Can’t Keep Explaining It Again And Again” – Watch

The 25th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards took place in Jaipur, Rajasthan over the weekend and it was a star-studded affair. Held on March 8 and 9, IIFA 2025’stwo-day extravaganza saw the who’s who of Bollywood walk the Green Carpet, interact with the media and even set the stage on fire with their dance/hosting performances. One of the many celebs to make their presence felt on both days on the green carpet was actor Neil Nitin Mukesh.

While reacting to people making fun of him using his father (Nitin) and grandfather’s (Mukesh) name in his name, Neil Nitin Mukesh said, “Joh aam insaan, joh mere naam ko lekar agar mazak karta hai, toh woh mere legacy ko samajh nahi pata. Aur mere dil mein joh mere family ke liye – dadaji aur pitaji ke liye joh bhavnaye hai, woh mein shayad unhe expaling kar bhi nahi paunga. Toh main kyu… Mere pitaji ne apne pure zindagi apne pitaji ke naam ke liye dedicate kiye toh ek bete hone ka farz main nibha sakta hu. Toh main bus wohi kar raha hu. And I can’t keep explaining it again and again.”
