Fame can really put you under the spotlight but it also had a dark side waiting just outside. Actress Jacqueline Fernandez has seen the ugly side of it as well and she recently opened up about facing nasty media reports as well as the trolls who made false allegations.

Jacqueline told Shilpa Shetty, on her chat show, Shape Of You, about dealing with the violation of her privacy, “For me, what I’ve learned over the years. Don’t let it turn you into a bad person. Don’t let it turn into them. That’s really important.”

Shar further added, “Very, very easily, it can turn you into a horrible person, a bitter person. Someone who is upset with the way that people behave, one can become untrustworthy. Don’t let it change you, don’t let it turn you, don’t let it upset you, don’t let it steal your light. Stay good, stay positive.”

Jacqueline also revealed to have resorted to taking therapy because she did not want her family to know that she is suffering from loneliness, “This was in 2020, it was right after the pandemic. I realized it was possible going through a bit of loneliness and there are so many people who live alone in the city. You don’t end up having people to talk to. I don’t like bobbing people down with my problems and issue. So I don’t want to bring up things that might seem sad or depressing around an environment of friends to even family, I don’t like them knowing that I am sad or lonely. So I did seek help and I had this amazing therapist.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Jacqueline will be seen next in Bachchhan Paandey with Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon. The movie will hit the theatres on March 18.
