Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is going through a difficult time as her mother, Kim Fernandez, passed away on the morning of April 6, 2025. Kim had been admitted to Lilavati Hospital after suffering a heart stroke and was in the ICU for several days. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, her condition worsened, and she sadly passed away.

Kim Fernandez Passes Away After 13-Day Battle In Hospital

Jacqueline and her father, Elroy Fernandez, had been regularly visiting the hospital for over a week. The actress even skipped performing at the IPL opening ceremony to be with her mother, showing how serious the situation was. This is a heartbreaking loss for Jacqueline and her family. We hope she finds the strength to cope during this tough time. As soon as the news broke out, Fateh actor Sonu Sood and Jacqueline Fernandez, along with her family, arrived at the hospital to pay last respect to her mother.

Jacqueline was born in 1985 to Elroy Fernandez, a Sri Lankan Burgher, and Kim, who was of Malaysian and Canadian background. Her father, a musician, moved from Sri Lanka to Bahrain during the 1980s due to civil unrest. It was in Bahrain that he met Kim, who worked as an air hostess.

Together, they built a life and a family, and Jacqueline was raised in a loving home. Losing a parent is never easy, and we send our deepest condolences to Jacqueline and her loved ones.
