“Just look at the title of the film; I would never go to watch a film with such a name. Yeh koi naam hai? Is that really a name?” Jaya Bachchan said. She then asked the audience if they’d be fine with watching a film with such a title. When a few people raised their hands, the actress added, “Among so many people, hardly four people want to watch the film; it’s very sad. Yeh toh flop hai (It is a flop).”
About Toilet: Ek Prem Katha
Toilet: Ek Prem Katha tells the story of Keshav, who falls in love with Jaya (played by Bhumi Pednekar) and marries her. The plot thickens when Jaya expresses her frustration over the lack of a toilet in their home, prompting Keshav to take on the challenge of installing one. However, he quickly discovers that doing so is no easy feat, as he faces strong opposition from both his family and the village due to cultural and religious beliefs.
