Nowadays, almost every film has an item song (a special dance number) despite being the need of the film. Speaking about the same, in an interview, Attack star John Abraham revealed that it breaks him whenever he has been asked or told to incorporate an item song in his films. Interestingly, songs like Dilbar, Saki Saki, Rock The Party were a part of John Abraham’s previous films like Rocky Handsome, Balta House, Satyameva Jayate. In the interview, he mentioned even though he sounds condescending, it kills him.

John told Tried and Refused Productions in a video interview, “Some of my music has been great. Jism, for me, is still my favourite album. I think I have accidentally got very nice songs. But I have also got extremely bad songs. For me, the real dagger that pushes me down is when I am told that I have to have an item song in a film. And I don’t want to sound condescending towards it but that kills me. That really breaks me.” When the interviewer said that one could see it in John’s face in the video, he said, “That’s me walking painfully by.

Just recently, John had a tiff with a journalist after the journo said his movies have an overdose of action. The Satyameva Jayate actor said, “More than physically fit, I am trying to be mentally fit to answer some crazy questions as people are so dumb. Sorry sir, aap dimaag chod kar aa gaye (You left your brain at home). I apologise for you. On behalf of everyone, I shall apologise for you, no problem, you’ll do better next time.

John further said, “If you ask the same ghisa-pita question like uncle, you’ll have a problem. You’ll have to ask the questions of today. Ask why is Attack special or unique. Ask questions related to this film.
