About Khosla Ka Ghosla
The original Khosla Ka Ghosla was produced under the banner of Taandav Films by Savita Raj Hiremath, in association with Ronnie Screwvala’s UTV Motion Pictures. The story was written by Jaideep Sahni. The film featured Kher, Boman Irani, Parvin Dabas, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey, and Tara Sharma in prominent roles.
The story centres around Kamal Kishore Khosla (played by Kher), a middle-class Delhiite who, along with his family, fights to reclaim his land that has been seized by a builder named Khurana (played by Boman). The film was successful enough to inspire remakes in other languages. In Tamil, it was made as Poi Solla Porom, and in Kannada as Rame Gowda vs Krishna Reddy.
