Kangana Ranaut starrer Emergency to get certification only after cuts are made says CBFC to Bombay HC

Kangana Ranaut and her upcoming biographical political drama, Emergency have been making the headlines for a number of reasons. One of the major reasons the duo have been making the news is owing to a delay in the film receiving a CBFC release certificate. However, a recent update reveals the board will issue a certificate if the makers make the recommended cuts. Read on to know all about it.

Kangana Ranaut starrer to get CBFC certification after cuts are made

As per the most recent media reports, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has told the Bombay High Court that it would issue a certificate to Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency only if the producers made certain recommended cuts. For the unversed, the Bombay HC had last week reprimanded the CBFC for not deciding on the issuance of the certificate for the Kangana Ranaut starrer. They directed the CBFC to take its decision by September 25.
