While her next project was not announced, she is reportedly set to work in the West. Kangana is all set to make her Hollywood Debut with Anurag Rudra titled Blessed Be The Evil.
Kangana Ranaut to make her Hollywood Debut?
Variety reported that Kangana Ranaut is all set to make her Hollywood debut. She will be seen in a lead role in the horror drama, reportedly titled Blessed Be The Evil. Apart from Ranaut, the film will also star actors such as Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone, best known for Teen Wolf and Tulsa King, respectively. It will be directed by Anurag Rudra. The production will begin later this year in New York. The report stated that the producers picked US locations to “avoid running into any uncertainties stemming from the recently announced Trump industry tariffs”.
According to Variety, Blessed Be the Evil will follow the life of a Christian couple who decide to live alone, away from the hustle and bustle, after losing their child through miscarriage. They buy an old farm, but little do they know, it has a dark and mysterious history. The project will be presented to international buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Market.
Talking about film, Director Rudra revealed, “Being born and spending my childhood in rural India, I was told stories that got embedded in my mind and heart. This folklore was so special that I truly believed in all the stories, and wanted to showcase them internationally through the art of cinema – the strongest and most beautiful way to connect to dreams and reality.”
