Kanika Kapoor has been in the headlines almost every day due to her Coronavirus controversy. The ‘Baby Doll’ singer was recently tested positive for COVID-19. She was the first Bollywood celebrity to have contacted the virus in India. Now, the Bollywood singer has been tested positive for the fourth time in a row and her family is worried.

Kanika was in the news because it is said that she was partying with about 100 people in Lucknow, while she was Coronavirus positive. Kanika, who was hospitalized on March 20th after she tested positive for coronavirus, had returned from London on March 9th and then traveled to Kanpur and Lucknow. And during her stay,  eventually, she developed cough and fever.

The singer has been tested positive for the fourth time now and her family is worried sick that Kanika is not responding to the medication properly. According to a report by IANS, one of her family member who did not wish to be named, said, “We are now worried over the test reports. It seems that Kanika is not responding to treatment and in this lockdown, we cannot even airlift her for advanced treatment. We can only pray for her recovery.

However, Doctors at the SGPGIMS, said that the Kanika’s condition was stable. Kanika is undergoing treatment at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in Lucknow. In an earlier report, SGPGIMS Director Prof RK Dhiman said that the singer’s treatment will continue until at least two tests show her negative.

The novel Coronavirus has been spreading like wildfire all over the world and it has been declared a pandemic. People across the globe are undertaking social distancing as a precautionary measure.
