Karan Johar wanted to get married after seeing Anushka-Virat’s wedding pictures!

Sometimes we wonder if there is anything that Karan Johar can’t do. Directing, acting, producing films, hosting chat shows, anchoring and judging reality shows, you name anything and he has done it. The filmmaker has even made his foray into radio talk shows.

And like Johar’s other projects, his radio show ‘Calling Karan’ too is a hit amongst the masses. On his show, the director talks about anything and everything under the sun that his fans and followers ask him about. Just recently on his show, he spoke about why he doesn’t like his nurses addressing Taimur as his daughter Roohi’s brother. Because he feels that may be in future they might want to be together.

Now on the same show, Karan spoke about the kind of wedding he would love to have. Yes, according to a report in Bollywood Life he actually spoke about wanting to get married after watching the pictures of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli‘s wedding.

When he was asked about the coolest wedding of B-town, Karan said, “I think Anushka and Virat’s. Dream wedding. I almost like wanted to like – not that it’s possible – but I really felt like I wanted to get married when I saw those images. Just the video of her walking towards him, just made my eyes go all moist. I felt that very ‘Aww’ kind of moment when I saw it. And that rarely happens to me, I’m quite cynical about these things(sic)”

The filmmaker also spoke about the way our films portray weddings. “I think Bollywood tends to capture the wedding in a more aspirational manner than they really are. But I think the best wedding was ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. It looked like a lot of fun, it looked like you wanted to be part of that wedding,” Karan said.

Interestingly Karan also revealed that he would never go for an intimate-private wedding. Well, given the fact how Karan portrays love and marriage in his films, even we would love to be a part of his wedding.
