Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has long been at the center of the “insider vs outsider” debate, a topic that has gained significant attention in recent years. In his recent cryptic post, Johar addressed the issue head-on. He has earlier as well clarified his stance on the same. Howver, this time too, he bluntly took a dig at the conversation.

The director took to his Instagram and wrote, “Living on a plane.. what a privilege to be an outsider from the plane and an insider to the warmth of my hotel room. I am so happy to be entitled to my own thoughts and cut off from WHYFI.” This post comes after Nadaaniyan receives backlash and the filmmaker gets trolled for launching Ibrahim Ali Khan.

This is not the first time the filmmaker has broken silence of nepotism topic. He has always been at the receiving end of this conversation everytime he launches newcomer. The topic gained attention after Kangana Ranaut appeared on his show Koffee With Karan and called him ‘flagbearer of nepotism’.
On the work front, Karan is backing several movies. After tiff, he has reconciled and collaborated with Kartik Aaryan for Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. The film will be directed by Sameer Vidwans. He is also producing Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday & Lakshya directed by Vivek Soni. He also has Dhadak 2 in his kitty. While he is also set to turn host for Amazon Prime reality series The Traitors.
