The designer shared a deep bond with her, often speaking about her as a constant source of strength. Renowned for styling some of Bollywood’s biggest stars over the decades, Manish has cultivated close personal relationships across generations. Later that evening, numerous Bollywood celebrities visited his residence to offer their condolences.

Manish Malhotra’s Mother Sudarshan Malhotra Passes Away At 94

Manish’s team issued an official statement confirming the sad news and providing details about the last rites. The statement read: “With gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we share the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Mrs Sudarshan Malhotra, at the age of 94. Blessed with a long and fulfilling journey, she leaves behind cherished memories, generations of love, and a legacy that will continue to inspire us. The cremation ceremony will be held on 20th March 2026 at 10 am at the Hindu Crematorium, Santa Cruz West, Mumbai. We invite you to join us in offering prayers and bidding her a respectful farewell.
