As the nation mourned the loss of Manoj Kumar, a lunar eclipse cast a somber shadow over his emotional funeral, where his wife, Shashi Goswami, broke down in grief. On Friday morning, the nation was plunged into mourning upon hearing the sad news of the passing of legendary actor Manoj Kumar. Today, the entire Bollywood industry came together to pay their final respects at the actor’s cremation.
Manoj Kumar’s Wife Mourns Actor’s Death
Several photos and videos of Bollywood celebrities paying their last respects to the late actor surfaced on the internet. In one heartbreaking video, the late actor’s wife, Shashi Goswami, was seen crying inconsolably. In an emotional moment captured in a viral video, Manoj Kumar’s wife, Shashi Goswami, was seen inconsolable as she bid her final farewell to her beloved husband. She was visibly distraught, offering tributes to the late actor through her tears.
As per tradition, his mortal remains were draped in the Indian national flag, and an ambulance adorned with flowers in the tricolour theme was seen earlier in the day as it made its way from his residence. The state paid its last rites to the actor by firing 21 bullets.
The family of the late actor, including his son Kunal Goswami, was joined by close friends, colleagues, and well-wishers who gathered to honour Kumar’s memory. Among the moving visuals from the funeral, Shashi Goswami could be seen breaking down in grief during the ceremony.
Manoj Kumar passed away in the early hours of April 4. His son Kunal confirmed the news, telling ANI, “My father, Manoj Kumar, passed away today at 3:30 AM at Kokilaben Hospital. He had been feeling unwell for a long time, but he fought every hurdle with resilience and grace. He peacefully breathed his last by God’s grace and Sai Baba’s blessings. Sia Ram.”

Following his death, several Bollywood icons, like Dharmendra, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Raveena Tandon, Subhash Ghai, and Anupam Kher, expressed their condolences on social media, sharing heartfelt tributes.
