In a recent video on his YouTube channel, Mukesh recalled that he visited Dharmendra’s home just five or six days after he was brought back from the hospital. “They had set up an ICU-like arrangement inside the house. I knew I wouldn’t be able to meet him properly, but I still felt it was important to go,” he shared.

During his visit, Mukesh also met Sunny and Bobby Deol. He expressed his optimism, telling them, “He is very strong. He will come out of this… he will get through this problem.” However, he acknowledged that ultimately, “whatever God wills is what happens.” Mukesh noted that Dharmendra’s body had given up, but his soul had moved on. “He had a beautiful soul,” he added.

Mukesh reflected on the many memories he shared with Dharmendra, especially during their work on the film Tahalka. He praised Dharmendra’s simplicity and humility as his greatest strengths. Even in his final months, despite not feeling well, Dharmendra’s face radiated positivity, Mukesh remembered.
