Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is versatile Bollywood actor who is widely looked up to for his performances in films and shows such as Black Friday, the Gangs of Wasseypur, Raman Raghav 2.0, Manto, Sacred Games. The actor – who is considered one of the finest actors in Indian cinema, has often been compared to late actor Irrfan Khan. During a recent interaction on Rohan Dua’s podcast, Nawazuddin Siddiqui got candid about being compared to late Irrfan Khan and Bollywood seeking validation from the West. When asked if India has found its Irrfan Khan, the ace actor told the interviewer, “We shouldn’t need validation from the west. There are many good films made here and many good films made there and many bad films made here and many bad films made there. This is a fact. “
He continued, “We have such great actors. There are so many great actors whose names you have mentioned like Naseer saab, Manoj bhai, Om Puri saab, Irrfan Bhai.”
