Amid controversy surrounding her upcoming film ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ featuring Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir, Neeru Bajwa has deleted all her social media posts related to the project. The casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in the film has ignited protests following the Pahalgam terror attack. As the film prepares for its overseas release today, June 27, Bajwa appears to have removed all promotional content from her accounts.

Previously, Neeru Bajwa had shared posters and a teaser for ‘Sardaar Ji 3’, but these have now been taken down. Notably, her recent social media activity includes a post promoting her upcoming film ‘Son of Sardaar 2’. There is no mention of ‘Sardaar Ji 3’. Reports on Reddit also suggest she unfollowed Hania Aamir on Instagram amid the backlash.

Directed by Amar Hundal, ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ is a horror-comedy about ghost hunters. It was played by Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir, investigating paranormal activity in a haunted UK mansion. Neeru Bajwa also features prominently in the film. Although it will not be released in India, the film is set for an overseas release today.

The controversy primarily revolves around the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. The film’s producers clarified that her signing was completed before the Pahalgam terror attack. The filming was done before escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. Additionally, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They called for a ban on Diljit Dosanjh and the film’s makers, urging authorities to revoke their passports and citizenship.
