nora fatehi, pr agencies,

Nora Fatehi recently revealed that some actors have been leveraging her name to boost their own profiles, with some even reportedly paying their PR agencies to create comparisons between their performances and hers. This tactic often suggests that they have surpassed her in popularity. Nora recounted a specific incident where she confronted an actor who had made disparaging remarks about her.

Nora Fatehi Says Actors Ran Paid PR Campaign To Declare She’s Done

In an interview with BBC Asian Network, Nora stated, “They would go and pay their PR agencies and ask them to put their and my picture together with the caption, ‘Nora is done. I am the new Nora.’ Don’t do that. That’s ridiculous. Just because I don’t have anyone to call you and ask you not to do that, doesn’t mean that you can ride over me. Stay in your lane and be respectful.”

Nora also reflected on her determination to make a strong comeback after suffering an ankle injury. She explained, “So, when I was sitting with the ankle injury and reading that Nora is done, I was like okay wait till my ankle is healed, let me show you. And I swear I wasn’t fully recovered from the injury when I performed ‘Payal.’ I thought we need to send a message before 2025 comes in.” Nora starred in Honey Singh’s music video, titled “Payal,” last year.

Nora Says Everyone Is In Competition

Recognizing the cutthroat nature of the industry, Nora shared that “everyone is trying to bring each other down.” She pointed out that while people might be sweet to her face, they often work behind the scenes to replace her. When asked how she deals with such two-faced behaviour, she revealed, “I do confront them sometimes. I confronted a girl who was talking about me. I will not be a pushover or a doormat.”

Additionally, Nora opened up about being misled by an agency that made her audition for a role while secretly promoting another actress for the same project. She explained, “They told me they hadn’t heard back, but then they got another girl locked for that part. They made me sit for months wondering what was happening,” she said. Eventually, she decided to leave the agency.
