Nora Fatehi, widely known for her energetic dance numbers and bold performances, has returned with another special song. The actress features in the track ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke’ from the film KD: The Devil. However, unlike her previous chartbusters, the song has sparked criticism online, with some viewers calling out its lyrics for being vulgar and allegedly suggestive. Scroll down to know more.
Nora Fatehi’s Song ‘Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke’ Faces Backlash
Actress and Dancer Nora Fatehi’s Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke is set in a dance bar, performing alongside a large group of backup dancers. The song’s promo, released late last week, showed the actress in a striking ghaghra choli, dancing amid a crowd of rowdy men. The hook step, which quickly caught attention after the teaser dropped, features her playfully dropping and picking up her pallu in a suggestive move.
The track appears to have received mixed reactions from audiences online. Many viewers expressed discomfort with the song’s bold lyrics, overt double meanings, and highly suggestive choreography.
The opening verse of the song carries a strong double entendre that initially seems to describe an intimate act in graphic terms. However, as the stanza unfolds, it becomes clear that the lyrics are actually referring to a drink and a bottle, rather than what the earlier lines seemed to imply.
Audience’s Reaction To The Song
The reactions to the song are largely negative. One comment on the song’s lyrical video on YouTube read, “Ashleelta (vulgarity) on the top.” Another person wrote, “The lyrics are so cheap and vulgar.” There was criticism of the dance steps, too. “Wtf is this? It’s 2026, still this kind of song and action,” exclaimed one. Many others demanded a ban on the song in the comments.
Sanjay Dutt also features in the music video alongside Nora and is prominently placed on the song’s social media thumbnail. One fan lamented, “Didn’t expect from Sanjay Dutt after Dhurandhar.” KD, the film of which Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke is a part, is directed by Prem. The director also copped a lot of criticism. “We, Kannada Cinema Industry, disown this showman, Prems. Please accept our apology,” quipped one. Another wrote, “Prem proved that even Bhojpuri songs are classier than this.”
