The highly anticipated romantic crime thriller, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is nearing its theatrical release on February 13, and anticipation continues to build. Following the release of the film’s stylized, brooding trailer, attention has now turned to the cast’s remuneration, further fueling curiosity about the project.

Shahid Kapoor leads as Ustara, a cold-blooded hitman whose world is turned upside down when love enters his life. Several media reports suggest Shahid commanded a hefty Rs 45 crore for the film, making him the highest-paid actor in the project.

Triptii, Avinash & Tamannaah

Triptii Dimri stars as Afsha, an innocent woman caught in a dangerous web of love, betrayal, and vengeance. It is reported that she received Rs 6 crore for her role, which provides emotional depth to the story. Avinash Tiwary, portraying the ruthless Jalal, is said to have earned around Rs 7 crore, adding to the film’s intense conflict.

Tamannaah Bhatia, playing Rabia, is believed to be the highest-paid female actor in O’Romeo, with a fee of Rs 7 crore. Interestingly, her character remains largely under wraps, and her scenes are absent from the trailer.

Disha & Nana Patekar

Disha Patani appears as Julie, a dancer, with rumors suggesting she was paid Rs 2 crore. Nana Patekar plays the quirky Ismail Khan and reportedly charged Rs 4 crore, bringing a layer of gravitas and unpredictability to the cast.

Based on Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai, O’Romeo also features special appearances by Farida Jalal and Vikrant Massey, elevating its star power.

With Vishal Bhardwaj directing and an ensemble cast, O’Romeo continues to rank among the most awaited releases of the year.
