Vishal Bhardwaj took to his social media to share a video from his latest jamming session with Arijit Singh for his next song in O’Romeo, supposedly titled “Ishq Ka Fever”, recently recorded and sung by Arijit Singh.

In the video, we can see Vishal Bhardwaj singing the verses from this unreleased song while Arijit Singh was recording. An emotional Vishal Bhardwaj posted the video with the caption: “Hey Arijit… Till a few days back, while we were jamming on this song (you were shooting the video), I didn’t know that this would be one of my last film songs with you. This is unfair… #TakeBackYourSanyaas It’s unacceptable.”

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, O’Romeo marks Vishal’s reunion with Shahid Kapoor after over 8 years. Their previous collaborations include Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), and Rangoon (2017). The teaser hints at a story set against the backdrop of unrequited love, exploring themes of passion, pain, and the consequences of love denied. It features Shahid Kapoor showcasing a full-body tattoo, fighting goons, and firing guns.

The cast also includes Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Aruna Irani, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Farida Jalal. O’Romeo is scheduled to release in theatres on February 13, 2025, coinciding with Valentine’s Day.
