Paatal Lok Fame Tillotama Shome Targeted in Online Impersonation Scam, Issues Warning

Tillotama Shome has gained recognition as she has been a part of some of the prominent web shows in recent times. From Lust Stories, Mentalhood to Kota Factor, with every project she has showcased her impeccable acting prowess. The actress has been vocal on social media and shared every update about her life. Tillotama recently became a victim of Online Fraud and has shared an update alerting her followers.

Tillotama Shome becomes victim of Online fraud

Taking to her Instagram, the actress shared how an unknown user is using a still from her Bengali-language film Shadowbox (Baksho Bondi) as their display picture on WhatsApp. This impersonator had been reaching out to people, pretending to be the actress and attempting to ask for help under false pretences. Shome warned her followers to stay cautious and penned in the caption, “This is not my number. The photo being used as the DP is of our film @bakshobondifilm. It was since removed. To whoever you may be, please don’t use my name to ask the people I know for things. STOP.”

A few days back, Tillotama shared harrowing experience about how her flight to London was delayed by 8.5 hours and the airlines took zero accountability. She even recalled her initial days in the industry and shared how a director once demeaned her after paying her a modest fee for a project.

Meanwhile, on her work front, Tillotama Shome is preparing for the release of her upcoming film, The Fable. The film premiered at the 74th Berlin Film Festival and will compete in the prestigious Meeting Point Official Selection. The film also features Manoj Bajpayee, Deepak Dobriyal, and Priyanka Bose in key roles. Before this, she was recently seen in Tribhuvan Mishra CA Topper and Kota Factory 3.
