Salman Consoles Nikitin, Arbaaz Offers Condolences

Veteran actor Pankaj Dheer, best known for playing Karna in B.R. Chopra’s Mahabharat, was laid to rest in Mumbai on October 15. Family, friends, and members of the film industry gathered to say their final goodbyes. Among them was Salman Khan, who arrived to offer condolences and support to the grieving Dheer family.

Salman, dressed simply in an olive-green shirt, looked emotional as he embraced Pankaj Dheer’s son, actor Nikitin Dheer, who was seen breaking down during the ceremony. Arbaaz Khan also attended the funeral, standing beside the family during this difficult time.

Bollywood Pays Tribute

Many well-known faces from the film and TV world came to pay their respects. Sidharth Malhotra, Hema Malini, and Mukesh Rishi were among those spotted at the cremation ground. Mukesh Rishi, who had shared screen space with Pankaj Dheer in the past, appeared visibly moved.

The atmosphere turned even more emotional when the ambulance carrying Pankaj Dheer’s body arrived. Nikitin, unable to hold back his grief, was seen receiving comfort from close friends and well-wishers.

A Bond Beyond Films

Salman Khan shared a close relationship with Pankaj Dheer. They had worked together in films like Sanam Bewafa and Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge. In past interviews, Pankaj had praised Salman as one of the kindest people in the industry and admired his deep connection with family and friends.

The funeral took place at Pawan Hans crematorium in Santacruz at 4 PM. The Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA), where Pankaj Dheer held key positions, also issued a heartfelt statement mourning the loss of a respected actor and beloved colleague.
