Paresh Rawal CONFIRMS Hera Pheri 3 To Begin Shooting With Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty In February; Says, “Ghaav Bhar Gaya Hai”

Bollywood’s most loved comedy franchise, Hera Pheri, is finally making its much-awaited return. Fans have been eagerly waiting to see the iconic trio of Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, and Suniel Shetty back together, and now there’s good news. Paresh Rawal, who plays the unforgettable Baburao, has confirmed that Hera Pheri 3 will begin filming in 2026.

The veteran actor revealed that the team is planning to start shooting in February or March next year. He shared that the project is still in progress, but preparations are moving smoothly, as per News18 Showsha.

Earlier, Paresh Rawal had created a stir when he said he was walking out of the film. However, in June this year, he confirmed that all issues had been sorted and that he would reunite with Akshay and Suniel for the third part.

Talking about his brief exit, Paresh said a lot happened behind the scenes, but it never affected his bond with director Priyadarshan. “Ghaav bhar gaya hai (the wound has healed). Our relationship is very transparent,” he explained.

Interestingly, there was also a time when Paresh admitted he was “sick and tired” of playing Baburao. Yet, he once showed interest in the idea of a Baburao spin-off. However, he feels the character cannot work alone. “A film is a collaborative effort. I don’t think Baburao can exist on his own. You’ll need Shyam and Raju too,” he remarked.

Apart from Hera Pheri 3, Paresh Rawal has also completed the shoot of Priyadarshan’s Bollywood comeback film, Bhoot Bangla, where he again stars alongside Akshay Kumar. With so much lined up, fans are excited to see Paresh Rawal continue to bring laughter and magic to the big screen.
