Parineeti Chopra Supports Raghav Chadha Post His Paternity Leave Demand

Sharing a video from Parliament, Raghav Chadha stated: “I demanded in Parliament that PATERNITY LEAVE should be a legal right in India. When a child is born, both parents are congratulated, but caregiving responsibilities often fall solely on the mother. A father shouldn’t have to choose between caring for his newborn and keeping his job—and a mother shouldn’t have to go through childbirth and recovery without her husband’s support.”

He added, “Right after childbirth, the woman needs her husband’s presence the most. The husband’s caregiving role towards his wife is equally important. I raised this issue because caregiving is a shared responsibility, and our laws must reflect that.”
