The makers of SatyaPrem Ki Katha have finally dropped the remake of the pakistani hit song Pasoori. The song is sung by Arijit Singh.

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer SatyaPrem Ki Katha is just a few days away from its release. The makers had declared that the movie would be filled with soulful melodies. Adding to it they decided to remake the viral chartbuster-topped song Pasoori. Now, the song Pasoori Nu from Satyaprem Ki Katha dropped released at 11:11 am, considered to be magical cosmic timing.

SatyaPrem Ki Katha’s revamped version of Pasoori is out now

The makers of SatyaPrem Ki Katha revamped the song Pasoori and named it with just another word making it Passori Nu. The first few minutes of the song start with the playful romance between Katrik and Kiara. The two are in a picturesque field of yellow flowers with mountains in the backdrop expressing their love for each other. Cut to the rest of the song which looks like an abandoned building giving it a rusty vibe as they both dazzle in white. The song Pasoori Nu also has a glimpse of romantic clippings from the movie.

Pasoori Nu is sung by Bollywood’s love song guru Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar. Rochak Kohli and Ali Sethi composed the music for the song. Gurpreet Saini wrote the lyrics of the song, and Ali Sethi was the original person who penned the lyrics of Pasoori.

Pasoori Nu receives mixed reaction from fans

The whole song is not a complete copy of the original one. Even though the makers have not considered the whole lyrics, they have recreated the song giving it their own touch. The chorus remains the same along with the tune.

The song Pasoori Nu is receiving mixed reactions from fans. Many fans are not happy with the remake of the song and think that the Pakistani hit original was the best. A fan wrote, “Old pasoori is epic”. Another comment read, “Not every song needs to be remade, but some of you aren’t ready to have that conversation.”

On the other hand, Arijit Singh fans are in full support. One fan wrote, “Every Bollywood movie is Incomplete Today Without Arijit Singh Songs”. Another fan commented in full support of the song, writing, “Only Legend Arijit Singh can do justice to this superhit song with his mesmerizing voice…this version is gonna be the most viral song of 2023”.

Sajid Nadiadwala and Shareen Mantri Kedia, along with Kishor Arora, have produced SatyaPrem Ki Katha. Director Sameer Vidwans is a National Award winner who has directed this movie. The theatrical release of the musical drama is scheduled for 29th June 2023.
