Neither the actor nor the filmmakers have officially confirmed the development yet. The film has been making headlines for some time now; earlier, Deepika Padukone had reportedly stepped away from the project after disagreements with the director. Now, rumours suggest that veteran actor Prakash Raj also exited the film, allegedly following a heated exchange with Vanga and disagreements over the script and scene execution. It is said that the situation escalated further, leading to his departure.

According to OTTplay, Prakash Raj, who was initially announced as a key cast member and was believed to play a pivotal role, has been removed from the project. Reports indicate that tensions on set intensified after a confrontational discussion between Vanga and Prakash Raj concerning the script, which reportedly worsened the situation.
Additionally, there are claims that Prakash’s conduct with the production team became problematic, ultimately prompting the team to part ways with him. As of now, neither Prakash Raj nor the producers has issued any official statement regarding the report.

Earlier in 2024, news of Deepika Padukone’s departure from Spirit shocked fans and industry insiders alike. Multiple reports suggested that her demands—such as an eight-hour workday, a high fee, and a share of the film’s profits—clashed with the director’s vision, leading to her exit from the project.
