Preity Zinta Returns To India After 'Stressful' Trip Amid Iran-Israel Conflict

Preity Zinta expressed her gratitude for returning safely to Mumbai, India, after a stressful trip. The actress celebrated Holi with her family and offered prayers for those stranded and suffering in the conflict zone. Through social media, she shared her relief at being safe at home amidst the ongoing turmoil in the Middle East region.

In her heartfelt message on Instagram, Preity wrote, “So grateful to be back home in Mumbai after a very stressful trip from across the world. Even more grateful to be safe & to be able to celebrate Holi… It’s been a tough few weeks for people everywhere, and my heart and prayers are with all those suffering, away from their families, in need of security, food, love, and warmth. I pray to God to look after all of you.” (sic)

She also shared glimpses of her Holi celebrations with loved ones on social media. Wishing everyone a joyful Holi, she added, “Happy Holi to all my fellow Indians and to everyone else celebrating. Loads of love and light to you all.”

Several other celebrities, including Lara Dutta, Malaika Arora’s mother, and Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s son, remain stranded in the Middle East. Earlier, stars like Esha Gupta and Sonam Chauhan returned home safely.

Preity Zinta’s Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Preity is set to make her comeback with Lahore 1947. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film stars Sunny Deol in the lead. Also seen will be Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal, and Abhimanyu Singh in supporting roles. Notably, Sunny’s son, Karan Deol, will also feature in the period drama. Backed by Aamir Khan, Lahore 1947 is set during India’s Partition and is scheduled for release this Independence Day.
