Punjab Floods: Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Diljit Dosanjh And Other B-Town Extend Support As State Battles Devastating Crisis

Punjab is currently facing one of its worst flood situations in recent years. Heavy rainfall has caused major rivers like the Sutlej, Beas, and Ravi to overflow, leading to large-scale flooding in several parts of the state. Districts such as Gurdaspur, Fazilka, Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, and Amritsar have been hit the hardest.

Celebrities Show Solidarity As Punjab Faces Worst Floods In Years

As the state struggles to recover, many Bollywood celebrities have come forward to express their support. Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranveer Singh shared messages of strength and hope on social media. Karan Johar, Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, and Vicky Kaushal also posted their concern and prayers for the victims.

Randeep Hooda has stepped forward to support families affected by the floods in Gurdaspur. Punjab has been hit hard by devastating floods over the past weeks, leaving thousands of families displaced and struggling to rebuild their lives. According to a source close to the initiative, “Randeep as always wanted to personally stand with the people of Punjab during this difficult time. He joined hands with the Global Sikh NGO with whom he is associated since a long time, to provide relief, rehabilitation and visit flood-hit areas to meet families who have lost their homes and belongings. He interacted with affected families, listened to their struggles, and assured them that efforts would continue to reach those in urgent need.”

So far, the floods have claimed around 30 lives and affected over 3.5 lakh people. Thousands have lost their homes, belongings, and access to basic necessities. Relief efforts are ongoing, and both government and local communities have stepped up to help those in need.

The Indian Army’s Western Command has rescued over 5,500 civilians and 300 paramilitary personnel. They’ve also provided medical aid to more than 3,000 people and delivered 27 tonnes of food and essential supplies to affected areas.

In times of disaster, solidarity and support matter the most. While rescue operations continue and the people of Punjab work toward rebuilding, the combined efforts of authorities, locals, and celebrities serve as a reminder that every bit of help counts in overcoming such a crisis.
