Bhool Chuk Maaf Locks New Release Date; Rajkummar Rao-Wamiqa Gabbi’s Family Entertainer To Hit Cinemas On THIS Day

Bhool Chuk Maaf stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles. Following the massive success of Stree 2, Rajkummar has reunited with the production house Maddock Films for this new comedy. It will explore the intriguing concept of a time loop. Originally set to release in April 2025, the film’s release date has now been rescheduled.

Bhool Chuk Maaf will hit theaters on May 9, 2025. Announcing the new date, the makers teased, “Apni haldi mein hi atak gaye Ranjan aur Titli! Kya unki shaadi ka din aayega kabhi? Pata chalega 9th May ko. Bhool Chuk Maaf sabhi cinema-gharon mein!”

The story centers on Rajkummar Rao’s character, who is thrilled about his upcoming wedding and eagerly participates in his Haldi ceremony. However, his excitement turns to confusion as he finds himself waking up on the 29th repeatedly. He is trapped in a time loop and unable to reach his wedding day on the 30th.

Rajkummar Rao On Raising Fees

After the success of Stree 2, rumours circulated that Rajkummar had raised his fee. But the actor firmly dismissed those claims. In an interview with The Indian Express, he stated, “I read different figures every day. I’m not stupid to burden my producers. Being a part of the biggest blockbuster is not going to change me as an actor. Money is just a byproduct of my passion. I want to work all my life so I keep looking for roles that surprise me, excite me, challenge and help me grow.”

On the professional front, Rajkummar Rao is also set to star in Maalik, which is scheduled for release on June 20, 2025.
