Alia and Ranbir on working with SLB for Love and War
At a recent meet-and-greet event, Ranbir Kapoor shared his enthusiasm for the movie. He expressed, “Love and War is every actor’s dream—to work with actors like Alia and Vicky and a master like Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Working with him after 17 years, I can say that no human being works as hard as he does. No one knows music, Indian culture, and our value system as much as him. To be on his set is tiring, long, and the process can be daunting, but as an artiste, it is satisfying because he really nurtures art.”
Further continuing the conversation, Alia Bhatt also shared her experience. “It’s been amazing. We are shooting a lot of nights right now. So, we work at night, and we are mom and dad in the day. So it’s a very interesting combination. But because we shoot at night, it becomes your own world, there’s no distraction, there’s quite literally no noise, there’s no noise. It’s just us. We go to the set, we discuss scenes with Sanjay sir, he just makes you feel that 100% is just the beginning, you have to give way more than that, and you would want to. There you are having a blast! It’s really a blessing to be working under his guidance,” she explained.
Love And War will go on the floors later this year and it also stars Vicky Kaushal in lead role. The film will hit theatres in March 2026.
