On Holi, good will fight evil as Shivani Shivaji Roy returns to the big screen on February 27, 2026.” The studio unveiled an electrifying first look of Mukerji in her iconic role, hinting at a thematic connection between the film’s narrative and the festival’s celebration of good triumphing over evil.

Rani revealed that the edge of the seat thriller is ‘dark, deadly and brutal’ and immediately piqued curiosity amongst netizens, the fans of the star and the franchise. The film is strategically timed just ahead of Holi. It falls on March 4 that year. This timing is significant, reflecting the film’s core conflict of Shivani’s relentless pursuit of righteousness against the malevolent forces she faces. Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, who has collaborated on projects such as Band Baaja Baaraat, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger 3. The screenplay is penned by Aayush Gupta. He recently gained recognition for his work on Netflix’s The Railway Men, marking his debut in screenplay writing for YRF.
