Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14. He was found hanging from the ceiling on his Bandra residence. It is no secret how the case turned out and looks like Sushant’s fans are still coping with it.  Recently, in a Bingo ad Ranveer Singh was seen blabbering a few physics words based on the concept of the ad and Sushant’s fans bashed him for the same.

Sushant was an enthusiast of physics and he was always vocal about it.  In the Bingo ad, Ranveer’s character is seen annoyed by his inquisitive elders who keep asking him, “Beta, aage ka kya plan hai (what is your plan for the future)?”, so Ranveer is seen replying, “Paradoxical photons of atrangi algorithm ko E = mc2 mein laga kar interstellar Mitra Mandal conference ke aliens ki feelings match karne ka plan hai.” that leaves them stunned.

After the advertisement got out, netizens were seen bashing the ad and asking for it to be boycotted. One tweet read, “what a shameful person you are @RanveerOfficial never heard anyone from bw discuss science except Sushant you guys have left no stone unturned in mocking him. at least have some respect for his soul! #BoycottBingo”, another read, “@RanveerOfficial I just want to know who dubbed your portion in the ad? I’m sure you don’t know meaning of a single word here! If any chance you know, brief me what is Algorithm! Or what is Photon! Level matters, mocking doesn’t! #BoycottBingo  #NoSushantNoBollywood”, one more user read, “?Paradoxical Photons ?E=mc2 ?Aliens ki feelings  What do you mean by using this words? Why you guys are targeting a man who can’t even defend himself? But we will defend! SSRians, show them! #BoycottBingo #NoSushantNoBollywood @iRaviTiwari”

According to a report by DNA, the brand released an official statement and claimed that the ad was shot a year ago that was way before Sushant’s death in June, it read, “A completely false, erroneous and mischievous message is being posted/circulated alleging that an advertisement of Bingo! is making fun of a late Bollywood celebrity. Such kind of erroneous messages are knowingly spreading falsehoods. We request you to not fall prey to such mischievous posts. The recent Bingo! advertisement was shot more than a year ago in October 2019. It is being aired this year because of delay in the launch of Bingo! Mad Angles Cheese Nachos and Bingo! Mad Angles Pizza due to the Covid-19 pandemic.”
