After dating each other for six years, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are now finally married. The couple fell in love while working on director Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela… Ram Leela’, and post that, there was no looking back. Ever since they came together, DeepVeer have only set couple goals for everyone out there.

The couple got married in a dreamy destination wedding at Lake Como, Italy. Prior to their wedding, Ranveer and Deepika never spoke about their relationship. Though their actions spoke louder than their words, they chose to refrain from talking about each other. Now that they are officially man and wife, Ranveer poured his heart out about marrying Deepika in an interview with Filmfare.

Ranveer revealed that he always knew Deepika was the one for him. “I knew all too well that this is the woman I’m going to marry. This is the woman who would become the mother of my children. She’s too good, too lovely. She’s a Force of nature. I understood that almost immediately,” said the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor.

It’s been six years since they are dating and Ranveer has nurtured their relationship knowing that they will be having a ‘happily ever after’ love story.

Sharing why the couple chose to get married in Italy, Ranveer said that it was Deepika’s wish to marry there. “That’s the first step in being the husband of the millennium. Whatever her vision of getting married, I wanted her to realise it. Whatever she wanted, it was done exactly in that manner. She deserves every bit of it. I too deserve happiness and my happiness comes from her happiness. It’s that simple,” revealed the actor.

The ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actor also said that he was always ready to get married. It was Deepika who wanted to be ready and he waited for that to happen. Deepika is so lucky to have Ranveer as her husband.

DeepVeer most certainly are the couple of the millennium. Don’t you guys agree?
