According to Mumbai Police sources, Ranveer Singh was reportedly threatened by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang with a Rs 10 crore demand, delivered via a voice note sent from a US number. The Crime Branch has initiated a preliminary investigation, linking the voice message to Harry Boxer, and has heightened the actor’s security measures.

In the latest update on the case, sources revealed that the threat was conveyed through a voice note originating from an American number. This raises questions about how the message was routed. The Crime Branch has reached out to relevant authorities in the United States through official channels. They have reached out to gather details about the number and trace its origin as part of their ongoing efforts.

NDTV reports that the investigation has pointed towards Harry Boxer, a key operative of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. He is believed to have sent the voice note demanding Rs 10 crore. The message was received on the WhatsApp account of Ranveer Singh’s manager.

What Happened So Far?

During the initial probe, authorities found that the voice in the note matched that of Harry Boxer. Investigators are continuing to collect additional evidence to strengthen their case. It is also noted that the voice note was sent shortly after the firing incident at director Rohit Shetty’s residence. The threat was communicated to Ranveer Singh via his manager’s phone in the aftermath of that event.

Following the threat, security arrangements around Ranveer Singh have been intensified. The police have recorded statements from his manager and are actively investigating the matter. Currently, no FIR has been filed, and authorities are conducting a preliminary inquiry into the incident.
