Fans expressed frustration over the changes made to the Netflix version, especially the unexpected censorship and content trimming for a movie rated ‘A’.

After making waves worldwide, Dhurandhar is now streaming on Netflix, but viewers are disappointed with how the platform handled it. Social media was flooded with complaints shortly after the film became available, with many noting that scenes were muted and certain dialogues edited. Despite being an adult-rated film, nearly ten minutes of footage were cut, and explicit language was censored. This puzzled many fans who expected the OTT release to be unaltered.

Several posts highlighted the irony of censoring content in a movie already certified for mature audiences. One user commented, “You certify the film as A, but you mute/censor words! Are we kids or what? Everyone here is over 18; there’s no point in watching a movie with so many cuts and edits. You’re just stripping away the raw, authentic vibe.” Another wrote, “I was hoping for an uncut version, but they censored the curse words just like in theatres.” A third added, “Why are the abuses censored?”
