Decoding Rashmika Mandanna Vijay Deverakonda Wedding Reception Looks
Blending cultural heritage with contemporary couture, their outfits featured motifs crafted using pure silver and gold taar, adding depth and distinction to their looks. Rashmika and Vijay complemented their traditional attire with statement jewellery pieces from SHREE Jewellers.
Rashmika Mandanna’s Drape
Rashmika’s saree, envisioned in red, black, and gold, was crafted from Mysore silk sourced by Madhurya Creations, embodying the artisanal soul of the ensemble. Red symbolised auspiciousness and strength, black represented power and protection, while gold conveyed legacy. Her saree and blouse were adorned with intricate pearl, gold detailing, and silver threads plated in pure gold, layering tradition with luxury and heritage.
Monica Shah aimed for Rashmika to carry a piece of her heritage on this special day. The Gandabherunda motif, symbolising resilience and sovereignty—the emblem of Karnataka’s spirit—was featured prominently on her blouse, crafted to reflect cultural pride and strength.
Vijay Deverakonda’s Traditionally Rooted Ensemble
For Vijay, Monica Shah chose a design deeply rooted in South Indian tradition. The look was crafted to embody authenticity and cultural truth. Ivory served as the foundation, symbolising sacred beginnings and spiritual grounding—values central to a wedding.
Vijay wore a classic veshti and angavastram paired with an ivory silk kurta, detailed with handwoven silver borders. The subtle silver weaving added a touch of refined elegance to the monochromatic palette. His angavastram featured the Gaja-Kesari motif, intricately crafted in pure silver and gold taar, imbuing the ensemble with cultural significance and depth.
