Salman Khan Calls Salim Khan His Real-Life Sikandar; Superstar Shares Inspiring Tale Of Father’s Career In Indian Film Industry

Ahead of the release of his much-awaited film, Sajid Nadiadwala’s Sikandar, Salman Khan called his father, Salim Khan, his real-life Sikandar. During an exclusive press conference, the superstar also recalled how his father made his journey in the film industry.

During the exclusive press conference, when asked about who is his real-life Sikandar, Salman Khan answered, “Ek hi hai meri life main Sikandar. Woh joh pehele maale pe reheta hai.”

Talking about his father’s journey into the film industry, Salman recalled, “Abh mere father Indore se yaahan nahi aate toh main waahan kheti baadi kar raha hota. Woh unka decision tha, abh jab woh yahan aaye, toh mere jo grandfather the woh Hindustan ke sabse bade kalakaar the. Who Is Salim Khan?

Salim Abdul Rashid Khan is an Indian actor, film producer and screenwriter. He wrote the screenplays, stories and scripts for numerous films. He is one half of the prolific screenwriting duo of Salim–Javed, along with Javed Akhtar. Some of their successful films are Sholay, Zanjeer, Trishul, the Don franchise, Seeta Aur Geeta, Deewaar, and Kranti, among many others. Salim Ji is responsible for Amitabh Bachchan’s character archetype, Angry Young Man.
