Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam have temporarily moved out of their iconic home, Mannat due to ongoing renovation work. Gauri shared an update on how Mannat 2.0 is coming together.
Gauri Khan Updates About Mannat Renovation
Gauri is personally leading the renovation of Mannat. She has designed the house from the beginning and shared in an interview that the revamped version of Mannat, or Mannat 2.0, should be ready in about a year. Gauri recently expanded her design brand by opening an experience centre for Gauri Khan Designs in Delhi, which is accessible by appointment only.
As per reports of News 18, the family is now living in a rented duplex apartment in the upscale Pali Hill area of Bandra. The duplex is in Puja Casa, a building owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani. Reportedly, the monthly rent is around Rs 24 lakh.
About Mannat
As for Mannat, it’s not just a house—it’s a landmark. Located in Bandra (West), Mumbai, along the famous Bandstand, Mannat was originally a heritage bungalow called Villa Vienna, built in 1914. Shah Rukh Khan bought the property in 2001 and renamed it Mannat, meaning a heartfelt wish or prayer.
Spread over 27,000 square feet, Mannat features a mix of classic and modern architecture. The home includes six storeys, sea views, and luxurious interiors designed by Gauri Khan and architect Kaif Faquih. It has a private theatre, library, gym, swimming pool, elevators, and more. Two new floors are reportedly being added as part of the renovation. With an estimated value of Rs 200 crore, Mannat remains one of India’s most famous and expensive celebrity homes.
