Shanaya Kapoor Gets Emotional As Vikrant Massey Unveils Teaser Of Her Debut Film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Hugs Him – Watch

Actress Shanaya Kapoor is finally making her acting debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, alongside Vikrant Massey. After years of waiting, the young actress saw the first look of her debut film revealed at an award show. Overcome with emotion, Shanaya broke down on stage, and her co-star Vikrant comforted her with a warm hug.

At the event, Shanaya looked stunning in a glittering saree. She styled her hair in soft waves and wore dramatic smokey eye makeup. Watching herself on the big screen for the first time brought tears to her eyes. It was clearly a very special and emotional moment for her.

Shanaya also shared some behind-the-scenes moments on social media. She posted clips and photos from backstage, just before her name was announced for the first look reveal. On Sunday, she called it a “special night” and thanked everyone for the love and support.

Shanaya Kapoor’s Work Front

Back in March 2022, Shanaya was supposed to debut in Bedhadak, a film produced by Karan Johar. She was set to star with Kill actor Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada. The trio even did a stylish pool photoshoot together. Sadly, the film was shelved, and the project never moved forward. Before stepping in front of the camera, Shanaya worked as an Assistant Director on cousin Janhvi Kapoor’s film Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.

While her close friends Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan have already entered Bollywood, Shanaya’s big day has finally arrived. Her debut film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is set to release in theatres on July 11, 2025.
