Shanaya Kapoor recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of her upcoming film Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan in Azerbaijan, where she stars alongside Vikrant Massey. As the daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, Shanaya’s acting debut has been anticipated for quite some time, with her projects facing multiple delays. However, she is now poised to embark on her acting journey.

Shanaya Kapoor Wraps Up Shoot For Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan

On Friday, Shanaya took to Instagram to post glimpses from the shoot, holding the film’s clapboard and smiling for the camera, which prominently displayed the title Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. In her caption, she expressed her gratitude simply by writing, “grateful..” She has recently wrapped up filming in Baku.

In the comments, her mother, Maheep Kapoor, added red heart and evil eye protection emojis. Bhavana Pandey congratulated her with the message, “congratulations my gorgeous girl.” Friends like Navya Naveli Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Anjini Dhawan also filled the comments with red heart emojis in support.

About Shanaya Kapoor’s Career Journey

Before her acting debut, Shanaya worked as an assistant director on Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, which starred Janhvi Kapoor. She is also set to appear in Vrushabha, which will mark her entry into acting. This Telugu-Malayalam bilingual film will feature the renowned actor Mohanlal in the lead role, alongside Salma Agha’s daughter Zahrah S Khan and Roshann Meka. Vrushabha is scheduled for release on October 16 and will also be available in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi, produced by AVS Studios, First Step Movies, and Balaji Telefilms.

Shanaya was initially expected to make her debut in Karan Johar’s Bedhadak, where she was cast as Nimrit alongside Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada. However, there have been no updates regarding that film’s production since last year.
