She won the Best Debut Actress award at the Maharashtra State Film Awards. Her Hindi film debut came with Fan, where she played Neha, a Delhi-based call centre employee. A role she views as a significant breakthrough. She was handpicked by Maneesh Sharma from an impressive pool of 750 auditionees. Her notable work includes House, Guilty Minds, Broken News, and Taaza Khabar.

After Fan, Shriya solidified her reputation with acclaimed web series such as Mirzapur (2018), Guilty Minds, The Broken News (2022), and Taaza Khabar (2023). In addition to her screenwork, she has also acted in and directed various theatrical productions.

Shriya’s first foray into acting began at age five when she appeared in the Hindi television series Tu Tu Main Main. She was seen playing a character named Bittu. She made her stage debut in 2012 with Karan Shetty’s 10-minute short play Freedom Of Love. Shriya performed at the NCPA’s Short and Sweet Festival, where she showcased her talents in acting, singing, and dancing.
