Bollywood actor Sonakshi Sinha gave a fitting reply to a troll who predicted her divorce from husband-actor Zaheer Iqbal.

Sonakshi Sinha has been under constant scrutiny post her marriage with Zaheer Iqbal. Time and again she has been questioned and targeted for her interfaith marriage. Recently, Sonakshi again gave a befitting reply to a troll who predicted her divorce with Zaheer.

Recently, a troll commented on one of her pictures, “Your divorce is too close to you.” Sonakshi didn’t let the comment go unnoticed. She replied, “Pehele teri mummy papa karenge, phir hum. promise (First, your parents will get a divorce. Then we will, promise).“

For those unversed, the couple tied the knot last year in an intimate ceremony. Their wedding became talk of the town as they faced backlash inter-faith marriage. Sonakshi recently talked about it and revealed how it never became an obstacle in the relationship. Speaking to Hauterrfly, she said, “Zaheer aur main religion ko dekh hi nahi rahe the. Here are two people in love with each other and want to get married. He’s not enforcing his religion on me, I am not enforcing my religion on him. We never sit and talk (about religion).”

On the work front, Sonakshi will soon debut in Telugu cinema with Sudheer Babu’s Jatadhara. The film also marks Shilpa Shirodkar’s comeback. Sonakshi and Zaheer will be seen together in their film Tu Hai Meri Kiran. The upcoming romantic thriller release has been delayed as it has landed itself into legal trouble due to copyright issues.
