Sonakshi Sinha Shuts Down Pregnancy Rumours With Husband Zaheer Iqbal; Says; “16 Months And Counting”

Sonakshi Sinha, known for her sharp wit and confidence, recently found herself at the centre of pregnancy rumours after attending a Diwali event in Mumbai. Dressed in a beautiful red anarkali, the actress looked radiant as she posed for the paparazzi. However, some social media users speculated that she was hiding a baby bump with her hand, sparking widespread gossip online.

Putting an end to the buzz, Sonakshi decided to respond in her trademark humorous way. On Thursday, Sonakshi shared a series of pictures from producer Ramesh Taurani’s Diwali party, which she attended with her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal. 

The first few photos showed the couple looking elegant and happy, while the last image captured them laughing uncontrollably. In the caption, Sonakshi hilariously wrote, “World record holder for longest pregnancy in human history (16 months and counting according to our lovely and hyper-intelligent media) simply for posing with a hand around midsection. Her witty response won the internet. Fans and celebrities flooded the comments section with laughter and praise for her fun attitude. Stars like Kusha Kapila, Iulia Vantur, and Shilpa Shirodkar dropped laughing emojis, while many fans applauded Sonakshi for handling the rumours with grace and humour instead of anger. 

Zaheer Iqbal, too, joined in on the joke at the same Diwali bash. While posing for the paparazzi, he playfully placed his hand on Sonakshi’s stomach, pretending to confirm the rumours. Moments later, he burst out laughing and told photographers, “Sambhaal ke,” making it clear that the couple was taking the gossip in stride.
