Sonu Nigam Faces Stones Pelting During His Performance At Delhi Technological University – Watch

Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam had a LIVE concert at Delhi Technological University’s (DTU) Engifest 2025 on March 23 (Sunday). His concert gained massive attention when students started throwing pelted stones and plastic at him. To control the situation, Sonu requested the crowd to behave and stop his performance.

Sonu Nigam Urges Students To Behave

Reportedly, over one lakh students arrived to attend the concert. The singer addressed the crowd, saying, “Main aapke liye aaya hoon yahan pe so that we can all have a good time. I’m not asking you to not enjoy, but please aisa na kariye (I have come here for you so that we can all have a good time. I’m not asking you to not enjoy, but please don’t do this).”

Sonu also took to Instagram and shared a video collabs with fans of his concert. The video captioned as, “The man , The myth, The mythic, The legend. One and only Guruji Sonu Nigam.”

According to a Hindustan Times story, the singers expressed concern for his teammates and warned that if people kept throwing objects on stage, they would get hurt.

Once the situation was under control, the singer resumed his performance despite the interruption.
