Actress Sunayana Fozdar, known for her role as Anjali Mehta in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, shared a deeply emotional response, recalling her own recent visit to Pahalgam. “I was here last year on a holiday, hearing the plight of the locals—how they need tourism to survive! And then this massacre! Gives me goosebumps to know I was at the exact place!!!! This is so heartbreaking,” she wrote. Her statement shed light not only on the human tragedy but also on the devastating economic impact on a region that depends on tourism for survival.

Krystle D’Souza, recognized for her roles in Fittrat and Visfot, also voiced her anguish and condemnation. The incident, which saw over 26 Hindu tourists targeted and killed after being asked to reveal their religion, left the country shaken. “I am shaking as I type this. My heart is shattered. Innocent lives have been stolen in an act of pure terror. This isn’t just a tragedy, it’s a crime against humanity,” Krystle posted. She went on to stress the importance of not growing numb to such horror: “Terrorism is cold-blooded killing of dreams, families, and futures… We have to speak up. For peace, for justice, for humanity. Enough is enough.”

Nikki Tamboli, too, shared a stirring message on the need for unity and healing. “Jammu and Kashmir, where peace should reign, now mourns the loss of innocent lives. The attack on tourists in Pahalgam is a painful wake-up call about the hate that divides us. We must unite, not just for the victims, but for the peace that this region and the world so desperately needs.”

Joining them, actress Isha Malviya called the Pahalgam tragedy “unexpected and absolutely unacceptable.” In her message, she urged the public not to normalize such brutality. “Tourists came to witness nature’s beauty but they faced horror instead. We owe it to the victims to speak up, stand together, and demand peace.”

Together, these voices from the entertainment world reflect a nation’s anguish and its hope. They emphasize that while terror seeks to divide, the response must be one of unity, humanity, and an unrelenting demand for justice and peace.
