Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has left a huge void in Bollywood and thrown light on the dark side of the glamour industry. The debate surrounding nepotism has been taken to a whole new level. Many have speculated that the actor took the drastic step of ending his life because he was losing work due to nepotism and was in depression.

Now to fight nepotism, Sushant’s brother-in-law has decided to launch a ‘Nepometer’ to help rate films and other projects based on how independent or nepotistic its team is.

Sushant’s brother-in-law Vishal took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Created by my brother @mayureshkrishna in the memory of my brother in law @itsSSR”. Another tweet explaining what the Nepometer is read, “Fight Bollywood Nepotism with Information. We will provide rating for movies based on how nepotistic or independent movie crew is. If the #nepometer is high, then it’s time to #boycottbollywoodnepotism#fightnepotism”

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police has decided to investigate Sushant’s case further by probing it from all possible angles. They have recorded statements from everyone who was close to Sushant or interacted with him in the last few weeks before his death. This includes Rhea Chakraborty, Sanjana Sanghi, Mukesh Chhabra and many others.
