Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on June 14 and it is said that he was suffering from depression. But, many of Sushant’s close friends and family have come ahead and opened up that Suhsant never looked depressed and that there could be other reasons. While the Mumbai and Bihar police are investigating the case, Sushant’s friend Samuel Haokip recently opened up about the depression theory.

In an interview with Times Now, Samuel Haokip opened up about Suhant’s depression, he said, “I stopped working with him in July, somewhere around June-July, 2019. So, I’m not aware of what really went wrong or what really happened after that. However, till the time I was there, there wasn’t such a point where I could say he was kind of depressed because we used to have a really good time together. We had a small team and we used to swim together, play, sing and go for the shoots together. There was never really a point where I could just pinpoint and say that he was a depressed person because he was very lively. You do get a little sad or upset sometimes due to things around you but that doesn’t mean you’re depressed.”

Samuel had also hosted a live session on his Instagram handle and revealed that he was no longer working for Sushant for more than a year. Their venture titled Pro Team that was designed to help Sushant achieve his dreams is also inactive now. Further, he revealed that the other roommate Siddharth Pithani was closer to Rhea Chakraborty than him and said that he has seen Siddharth until last year.
