Actress Swara Bhasker got embroiled in a Twitter war with filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri. Yes, Swara has zero tolerance for anyone trying to bring her down or troll her. The actress once again showcased her sass and did something that all of us should take a cue from.

Swara Bhasker took to Twitter to express her disgust over the insensitive comments of  Kerala MLA on a rape survivor. The actress wrote, “Absolutely shameful and disgusting!!!! Scum present across political spectrums and religious divides in India. Literally nauseating!”

Commenting on Swara’s post, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri of ‘Hate Story’ fame wrote, “Where is the placard #MeTooProstituteNun”?

That was it, Swara couldn’t take this comment and lashed out at Vivek by saying, “Vivek. Just want to point out that you are using the trauma of women who are rape survivors to slut shame and abuse in public a woman you don’t like. In the rare moments of sanity that may visit your brain – otherwise unhinged with hate- think about how low that is.”

Not just that, the ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ actress reported to Twitter about Vivek’s abusive Tweet. Expressing her happiness about Twitter taking cognisance against cyberbullying, Swara posted, “Thank you @TwitterIndia @TwitterSupport 4 taking cognisance of @vivekagnihotri ‘s abusive tweet. And making him delete it! No tolerance 4 cyber bullying & abuse of women on public platforms! (Or private – but one thing at a time) Thank u #SayNoToBullying”

Expressing her happiness about Vivek’s abusive tweet being taken down by Twitter, Swara sent out a message to everyone saying that no one should tolerate cyber bullies. She wrote, “Girls! (& boys & everyone) DO NOT allow cyber bullies & haters to shame you or humiliate you on public platforms!! Resist, challenge and call out bullies & misogynists! Thank you @TwitterIndia @Twitter @TwitterSupport You just made the virtual public sphere a little bit better :)”

We hope the offenders learn a lesson and Vivek Agnihotri thinks twice before making any abusive comment on the social media platforms.
