Thamma, Param Sundari Music Composer Sachin Sanghvi Arrested Following Alleged Se*ual Harassment Case- Report

In a shocking development from the entertainment industry, well-known Bollywood singer and composer Sachin Sanghvi has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a young woman. The musician, famous for delivering hit songs in films like Stree 2 and Bhediya, was taken into custody on Thursday after police registered a case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

According to police officials, the complaint was filed by a woman in her 20s who claimed that she first came into contact with Sanghvi in February 2024 through Instagram. The singer reportedly sent her a message, after which they started chatting and later exchanged phone numbers. During these interactions, Sanghvi allegedly promised her an opportunity to feature in one of his upcoming music albums.

As per the woman’s statement, Sanghvi later called her to his studio, where he not only spoke about offering her a role in his project but also proposed marriage. The complaint further alleges that the composer sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions after making these promises. The woman said she trusted him due to his professional reputation and personal assurances.

After she realized she had been misled, the woman decided to approach the police. Based on her complaint, officials launched an investigation and subsequently arrested Sanghvi. He is currently being questioned, and further inquiry is ongoing.
