Nidhhi Agerwal

She defeated a few hundreds of women and was chosen to be the female lead opposite Tiger Shroff  in ‘Munna Michael’. The film received mixed response from critics and audience, but Nidhhi’s screen presence was adored by all.

The Bengaluru girl who always dreamt of becoming an actress, is finally paving her way. But given that she belongs to a completely non-film background and has stepped into something unfamiliar, it wasn’t easy for her.

Last night, we came across Nidhhi’s Instagram post. The photo is of her bare, reddened leg. “I know this is not a nice picture to look at.. but this was my second day of shoot and the second day of #shakekaraan when I got injured and dint tell anybody about it.. #worthit #munnamichael #gottadowhatyougottado,” [sic] the starlet wrote.

For those uninitiated, ‘Shake Karan’ is Nidhhi’s introductory song in the film. (Also Read: Nidhhi Agerwal denies rumours of dating Tiger Shroff, calls him her ‘first friend in Mumbai’)

In all of her past interviews, Nidhhi has gone on to say how Tiger was not just a co-star but also a shoulder to rely on, who helped her whenever a challenge cropped up. “I practically didn’t know anything about shooting. May be the director said, ‘let’s take a jimmy jib shot’. I would be like, ‘Huh? what’s a jimmy jib shot?’ and Tiger would take me aside and explain it to me. Once, I was asked to deliver my dialogues looking at a monitor and I was wondering where was the camera. I didn’t even know that the camera was inside the monitor,” she shared with the media, in one of her conversations. In between, rumours of the two dating each other also started doing rounds on internet. However, Nidhhi laughed them off and called him her friend and guru.
